What is Silirase gel ?

Silirase is a 100% pure silicone gel product that is designed according to the scar management guidelines and the international recommendations to manage, prevent, and treat the scars from surgical operations, trauma, accidents, or burns.

Silirase gel is formed of a unique formula that has the ability to stay over the skin to ensure effective prevention and treatment of scars. It has a unique consistency with quick drying properties to leave a very thin film or layer that is transparent, invisible, and dry on the skin within less than 5 minutes.

The best way to treat a scar is to prevent its formation, or if it is already formed, the time is NOW to start treating it because as time passes, the treatment becomes more difficult.

Silirase gel should be applied as early as possible after wound closure following surgery, trauma, or burns, but it should not be applied to an open wound.

How Silirase works ?

Silirase acts as a layer that stays on the surface of the skin, normalizing the water loss, providing the needed hydration, and normalizing the collagen production process, so the formed scar would be normalized.

The Silirase layer acts as a barrier to protect the skin from bacterial infection, physical and chemical irritation, and preventing overproduction of collagen. In addition, it modulates the process of building up collagen and its breakdown, leading to normal scar formation.

Silicone gel is universally considered as the first-line prevention and treatment option for hypertrophic scars and keloids. The efficacy and safety of this gold-standard, non-invasive therapy has been demonstrated in many clinical studies.

For Treatment
